HiSense has presented a new dual screen smartphone with eInk display on the rear like its successor the HiSense A6 or the Yota Yotaphone 3+. The HiSense A6L comes with a multi-color 6.53 inch LCD display on the front and in addition a monochrome 5.84-inch E-Ink Carta HD display on the rear to safe battery or use the Android phone as en E-Book reader. The dual-display smartphone is powered by a 64bit Snapdragon 660 SoC and 6GB of RAM. The in-built storage is expandable by microSD memory card up to 256GB. The double-sided mobile phone packs a large battery with 3,800mAh capacity.

On the HiSense A6L you find two screens. On the front is a classic IPS LCD display with waterdrop notch which makes it comfortable to use the phone for playing games or watching movies. At the back, the A6L sports a 5.84” HD+ eye protection black-white screen ideal for reading eBooks or to use the HiSense A6L under direct sunlight. The A6L is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core chipset with up to 2.2GHz burst frequency, 6GB of memory and 64GB or 128 GB of expandable storage.

Above the rear E-Ink screen are two camera sensors located and an additional selfie shooter in the front. The dual rear camera takes pictures with a 24-megapixel main sensor and a secondary 8-megapixel camera lens. On the front, the 20-megapixel camera is used to take selfies, use the A6L for video calling or to securely unlock the dual-screen smartphone with your face.

A traditional fingerprint reader is located on the side of the metal frame. The HiSense A6L packs a big 3800mAh battery supporting Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 with 5V/3A. The dual SIM phone supports all amenities a smartphone has to offer including dual 4G LTE, USB Type-C port, GPS, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. The HiSense dual-display smartphone runs Vision 7 UI based on Android 9 Pie OS out of the box.
