The device is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC and sports a 6.1 inch E-Ink display that has a 300ppi pixel density, dual colour temperature with manual and automatic adjustments. Furthermore, it also supports dual band WiFi, 4G cellular networking, and Bluetooth 5.0. The Hi Reader Pro weighs 183 grams and is powered by a 4,000mAh battery pack.

The device runs on Android 11 OS and even features ultra linear speakers with dual microphones as well as support for AptX, AAC, SBS, and even LDAC formats. Hisense offers the Hi Reader Pro with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
